is it just me being useless, or does anyone else get covered in food when they open the nd packet? or have i bought a dodgy batch!! it seems however i try it gets everywhere!
suggestions anyone?!?!
no , before you suggest it, the other half cant stand smelly food so wont even go near it!!!

I run a knife round the inside edge then cut it in the box as nec, no probs!

Me too, sharp knife all the way around, like opening a sardine tin ..and I've never had a problem. Slices nice too. Makes for a tastey sandwhich spread. :-) Just kidding ... one pack lasts my dog three days, so I slice it into portions.
ND does not smell bad to me. The chicken and rice smells exactly like people food chicken and rice. I buy tripe & chicken as well.. and that does have a slight tripe pong to it.

I know what you mean. Practice makes perfect though, try a serated knife as I find this is much easier.

we feed the chicken and rice which is fine smel wise, the fish, as i dont like it myself, i find smelly!
am coping with the knife slice method of opening, but think it would be easier if they designed it like a normal packet that you could peel off in one of the corners!
just me being a fussy thing i suppose!
