I have been asked by a friend to find out if anyone has heard of BENNINGTON'S COMPLETE FOOD, and to offer any comments please.
She does not need to know where to buy it - but with so much knowledgeable information now about various foods for our dogs, she wanted some input as to what people thought about it.
They are large moist chunks, that do not stick to each other.
The protein is 26% (currently feeding adult dogs)
However, the part that put me off was the CONTENTS (in order)
MEAT & ANIMAL DERIVATIVES (min. 26% chicken), Vegetable Protein extracts, Cereals, Oils & Fats, Glycerol, Vitamins and Minerals. Contains EEC permitted Antioxidants, Colourants and Preservatives.
Anyone here have some helpful knowledge about such ingredients?
Grateful thanks.

I am afraid I would be deeply suspicious of any foods that did not label exactly what was in it! Meat and animal derivatives can mean any animal and any part! Where are the fats and oils coming from,? Used chip pan oil and restaurant grease? No animal needs glycerol, it is put in to keep the contents "moist" and why colourings?
Think I would give it a wide berth with so many other much better foods on the market.
