I wonder if anyone would be so kind as to help me in my start up in becoming an owner of a Rhodesian Ridgeback. This is my first step, using the internet. I am a little unsure of the protocol and indeed, who best to contact to see whether there are litters available or planned. If anyone is able to shed any light on how I am best able to get a puppy and can advice me as to what I would be best doing next, I would be most grateful.

Make sure that you buy only from breeders who have had all the necessary health checks done on the parents and that the parents have exemplary temperaments. Also, if you click on "Home" (Top right of this page), then on "guided Search" - Hound group -Rhodesian Ridgeback-Breeders, you will find some breeders - but do plenty of research before you buy.
