My bro goes rabbiting on farm land (with permission ;) ) and some years ago told me of the dog that his friend had - a cavalierX whippet, he said it was very fast and a good retreiver of game and looked gorgeous but it was not a planned mating and was a 'one off'. I haven't heard of the Tudor Hound, they are not a registered breed at the Kennel Club in Britain or any other Kennel Club that I am aware of, but you may find something similar in a rescue centre. Please be wary of anyone trying to sell you a so called rare new pedigree dog for inflated sums of money, its usually just a money making exercise. Of course if your friend wants to call her dog a Tudor Hound then why not - I owned an AfghanXsmall terrier which I called a Black Welsh as thats all we really knew :D
To research pedigree dogs you will find loads of information on the various breeds on Champdogs (Search) and on the Kennel Club site
