Hi, could anyone give me advice or ideas that I could try. 
I have a GSD bitch who's seasons occur on a 6 monthly basis.  She is due for a next season in August and I wondered if there is anything I could do to encourage her to come into season a little earlier??

It's best to avoid tinkering with their seasons if you can possibly avoid it.

There are injections to postpone a season and these are a lot safer than they used to be.  However anything involving hormone treatment does have risks attached and involves serious thought and weighing up of risks before deciding on it.  I would certainly not consider it if I was planning to breed from my bitch in the year following the injection.

I don't know of anything to bring a season forward.

Some bitches will come in season early if living with another bicth at the time.  If you have bitches living together normally they will all have sasons at the same time!  Don't now why it does this but ts suposdly happens with women aswell!!! (read my biology book!)
