Topic Dog Boards / Feeding / Naturediet Light and bad tums

I read about this on here last week and decided that Naturediet light would have to be the next thing to try with Lucy.  All of my dogs are fed Naturediet but it didn't seem to suit Lucy.  From the day she arrived here at age 6 months last November she has had very loose stools and is extremely skinny.  I have tried various different things including fish and potato - worked for a friend's dog with the same problem, another friend recommended raw meat as that had sorted her rescue dog's bad tummy.  Several different complete foods, all to no avail.  For the last 3 weeks she has been on fish and rice and hard boiled eggs.  So 2 days ago we started giving her Naturediet light and this morning for the first time EVER she did a solid poo. :D :D  Early days, I know.  Just need to get some weight on now without upsetting the tum.  Any suggestions?

Have you tried pasta? I find this good for putting on a bit of weight, but bland enough not to upset the tummy.

I usually mix it with a spoonful of Bio yoghurt, this makes it a bit more tasty and helps line the tummy.

Hope this helps

Thank you Sandra.  It was on my mental list of things to try but haven't yet.  I'll give her a day or two on just the ND light then if she is still fine I'll try some pasta with it.  She has been having bio yoghurt daily.
