I have a 16wk old Bordeaux puppy from my bitch, he was taken to the vets on sat night i just knew he wasn't himself, very lethargic and not interested in anything,  as i write this he is still in the vets, the vet now says he has parvo,he has been fully inoculated and did not go out until the vet said he was allowed out,the bitch is fine, but this poor little fella is in a bad way,why do we pay for inoculations for this to happen.Has this happened to anyone else?

This happened to my lab puppy a week after he had his jabs.  I went home one lunch time and found him collapsed on the floor - luckily after a three day stay at the vets, he pulled through and is now back to his old self (he is now 6 months)  I cant understand how it happened to mine either but apparently, it can happen.  Hope your little boy pulls thorough ((((big hugs!!)) from Jenny and Sam

Thanx jenny. Just fingers crossed big style! he is my little baby, as the vet says he has perked up and is wanting food but he isn't keeping the food down, they say the next 48hrs are going to be crucial, tired of racking my brains as to how and were my little boy has caught this terrible disease from.
