Hi there,  with so many different dog foods and so much advice it is hard to decide so far i have opted for royal cannin giant, is it as good as they say or is there a less expensive alternative, a large bag is around £40, dosnt last long with a giant breed!!

I use Royal Canin medium for both of my dogs and find it an excellent food.  If you go to Championship dog shows you can buy it cheaper.
Personally I think you get what you pay for with dog food as with most things in life.

Hi there
thanks, i know you are right you do get what you pay for and it does seem to be one of the best around, my little baby is worth it no matter what, she gets fed better than me :) is it the same company who make james wellbeloved who make royal cannin?

Waltham make Pedigree Lel. It has no connection to James Wellbelloved to my knowledge.  Have a look on their website www.royalcanin.co.uk

<<Note: Royal Canin and Pedigree have merged to become Waltham Royal Canin. Their products together with Vetcat and Vetsize are only available from your vets practice.
Pedigree are now a seperate company selling mainly to shops and pet centres.>>

Lel, I stand corrected then :)  I didn't know that.  I will have a look on my next bag, mine goes straight into a bin so I don't have the bag any more.
