Knowing how knowledgable you lot are about things, we wondered if anybody could help with this!:)
We want to find out more about the heritage of our much-loved Lab. His prefix is Andola, although both of his parents are Whincourt. He also has Glencoin Drummer of Drakeshead as his great-grandfather. We have heard Drakeshead referred to on here. The other names that have cropped up a couple of times are Follytower Merrybrook Blackstormer (BOB Crufts '73), and Glencoin as a prefix.
If anyone can shed some light on these, or can tell us the best way to research his pedigree, please help!

Hi
Have you tried searching on Google for the different names in your pedigree. I have traced my pups back at least 14 generations using a lot of sites listed on the search engine. Follow every lead it gives you and you should get there.
Good luck but be warned once you get as far as you planned you will want to go further it is very very addictive.

Longdogs suggestion is a good one :-)

You could also contact the breed club and find out if they have any year books. This would show you the better known dogs in your pedigree. Drakeshead is a very well known working kennel.
