Think DeeDee is referring to her post as a guest. But there is not a lot we can say, perhaps she should ask for a second opinion and if the vets agree the it will be her sad task to decide whether to keep the pup or not.

Hi
OK, she was 9 months when you got her? Whats her diet? Have you talked to her breeder? Is she getting any vitamin C?
You can always email me if you would like to talk further - I have danes :)
C :)
Deedee. Do her legs bow in or out at the front, although the condition I am thinking of would be seen at an earlier age, does she show any pain when walking or playing. Like ChloeH I too have had Danes for many years and you can email me as well.

Hi there
her legs bow out at the front, she doesd have broad shoulders but the fact that her knees turn in at the back makes us concerned, the breeder is willing to take her back, but we were worried what they would do with her, however they have said they will keep her as they do not see it as a problem it is such a shame she is so friendly and tolerant with our pup, but i feel we should take our vets advice, also she is not insured and our vet said this would be an underlying condition so not covered. :(
