Topic Dog Boards / General / Dogs and lawn fertilizer

Does anyone know of a lawn fertilizer that is safe to use with dogs ? We have an awkward lawn that is impossible (apart from a small area) to fence off and we want to put fertilizer and moss killer on it.

Thanks

I've just done mine with Phostrogen Moss Killer and Lawn Tonic.  It says "Children and pets need not be excluded once the treated area has dried"   If it's done on a warm dry afternoon it shouldn't take too long to dry.  It shouldn't be used in hot weather or when the soil is dry but a warm dry spring day should be ideal.

Thanks, Kath :) Ours has more moss than grass in some places :D Will give it a try :)

Same here.  :(  In some places it's ALL moss! Just a warning though, it turns the moss black so it will look unsightly till you rake it out and the grass takes over again

Good luck :D

Kath (with a black and green lawn :D)
