hi all. began my search yesterday with numbers lel gave me. im much more hopeful now on getting a chihuahua.i am going to try rescue aswell. yesterday, we visited a place near .to see the dogs ready to be rehomed .they werent chihuahua, but it was a lovely place. there was a german shepherd with three legs. he was gorgeous. i cried like a fool when i saw him.the place felt warm and friendly . it dispelled my fears of seeing rescue dogs. i wanted to take them all home. the three legged dog had been there ages and as we were there a couple came to get him.there were pics of success stories all around. i had thought i would see terrible sights, obviously they only show you those ready.im going to ring a few nos but i a nervous of looking. i heard story on here where dog died and person was left with awful experience.and huge vet fees. can i trust rwescue and any advice. also will i be shunned for wanting to have chihuahua to live with two gsd. who i know adore little dogs. i am still trying to get membership here. am stupid with computer jargon. have tried 4 times. older son around today./ am hopeful in joining.
