Hi
I have been feeding my 2 bc's Burns for about a month. I have a few concerns with it though. They seem really hungry, they never did before on their old food, also they seem really thin, especially 1 of them, who we are a bit worried about as she seems really quiet, which is very unlike her!!!!

We are taking her to the vets tomorrow for a check up, but do you think it's because she's so thin?????

I know Burns does make them very lean but she doesn't seem her normal self at all

Thanks

Jo

Read the Burns Chicken and Rice post :)
If it aint working for your dog find a food that will, not all foods will work for every dog
Good luck :)

My working cocker was on the Venison, but she had similar problems with loose motions - we switched her to the lamb and she is fine now.   Like your dogs she is very lean and when we took her on holiday recently and did a lot of walking, she looked almost skeletal by the end of the week.  I give her some of the Burns Ocean Bites (smelly but she loves them and they are pure fish so no nasty ingredients) during the day and, until she recovers the holiday weight loss, am adding some coconut oil to her food.  I know that Molly was very subdued on holiday and, like you, we wondered if it was because of the weight loss.  Let us know what the vet said.

Hmmm, it may well be that this food does not suit your dog.  It may be also that because most people are used to seeing overweight dogs that a fit dog appears "thin" (most people think my dogs are underweight); also if they are calmer this can be a direct result of feeding food with less additives ( as opposed to moribund) :D
