I have a  month old Boston Terrier puppy.  When he has to go outside, he stands by the door and looks at you.  If you don't see him standing there, he will just urinate by the door.  How can I train him to bark when he has to go outside ?

You don't say how old he is - I don't believe he is only a month old!

I've a 6 month old Great Dane and she still does this sometimes. Her other method of letting you know is trying to herd you to the door (not always obvious if you are in a different room)

I'm sure someone will be along with some practical advise soon but if he really is only a month old then it's great that he even gets as far as the door!
