Hi! Just wondered if anyone has come across "ear flapping"!
My GSP has recently, after getting up from a sleep, shaken her whole body & ears which makes a sound like I can't describe sometimes she does it in the middle of the night and if I didn't know what it was it would be quite frightening! She hasn't got anything wrong with her ears it' s just become an attention seeking habit!  

My dogs do this all the time, its a spaniel thing.
I am not sure about GSP. Are you sure she has not got something in her ear, take her to the vet if you are worried she may have something deep in the ear canel which you wont be able to see, even a tiny fly can cause iratation.
