My bitch is twentyone day gone, and at this time in the book of the bitch it is saying that anything can go wrong with the foetus and this is a very inportant time for her and her offsring not to go to dog shows ect. as any infection could cause deformed pups.  how do i go about this, is it that i should keep her away from other dogs that im not sure of. Please let me know how protective i should be of her.

My bitch kinda knew her limitations. 

If she felt uneasy or unsure about anything she let me know.  I did try to keep her away from dogs when we were out walking, she was not let off lead just in case but I also own the sire so keeping them apart was difficult.  If things were getting a bit out of hand she would walk away and hide under the coffee table.  Do not show that you are anxious at this time as she will pick up on it.  In the end she had a lovely, healthy litter of above average size pups for her breed.
