please could anyone give me some advice.
i have never owned a pedigree dog bofore, ihave always had cross breeds.
i have fallen in the with the bulldog i am going to pick a puppy soon they will be about 5,6 weeks old they are being sold for 2,000 each.
we have emailed the breeder seen pictures of the puppies and they have asked me lots of questions as they want there puppies to go to good homes which is understandable.
is there any questions i should be asking and how do i know i am getting a good pedigree
is there anything i should be looking for when i see the puppies.
many thanks shirl

Hello Shirl, the price seems a bit high to me, although Bulldogs are not my breed. Is this the only breed they have or do they have many different breeds? If they do I think I would look else where for a breeder that specialise in just bulldogs. I am assuming that the price of 2000 is in pounds sterling and not another currency.

£2000 does seem a bit steep and there is usually a huge waiting list too.

dont know whether the poster means she is picking a pup as they are 5-6 weeks old rather than bringing home ? Mind you, you never know...........

I have recently paid this price for a bulldog bitch, but she is from the best lines possible and the breeders are one of the best in the country. Are the pups you are going to see from quality lines? If you need any further help please pm me.

I for one am so fed up with the price of Bulldogs i know you have the right to charge what ever you wish
but for gods sake this is out of hand i show breed and love my Bulldogs i have only had them for 7 years so am still classed as a new comer but if i want to take any of my Bulldogs out with me i have to take one of my Bullmastiffs or Cane Corsi with me for protection as you get men pulling up in there cars yelling out at you how much did you pay is it male or female how old is it for sale then after you have told them to leave you alone you have to make sure no one has followed you home so they can break in when you are not there and why all because of the price!!!!! mine go for much less and mine win in the show ring.
Sorry for the rant :-)

victims of their own greed i feel. £2K for a dog - outrageous.

Here Here
I have to take mine out with my rottweilers just to feel safe.
Nothing is going to change about the prices
and to be honest in the last month they seem to have gone up
another 300 (ish).
