I'm wanting to enter my puppy (will be her first show) at a small open show, she's a Dobermann and the only two classes available for Dobes are Post Grad and Open, would I be eligable in these circumstances to enter her in N.S.C.W Puupy class?  or because the Dobe is classified in the schedule is this not permitted.

Hi She, no your puppy is not elligible for AVNSC. You can enter her in the post grad class even though she's only a puppy, you might win best puppy in breed if she is the highest placed or the only puppy in that class. You need not enter her in a breed class at all if you don't want to, puppies are exempt from the rule that states if a breed class is provided then a dog cannot be shown in AV classes only. You can put her in AV Working puppy or AV Puppy, just not AVNSC puppy, as there are classes for the breed.
