I live in the North Wales area and am looking to buy (preferably) a chocolate labrador dog puppy, as we recently lost our much loved "old stager"! We do not intend to either show or breed any potential new pet, and would be intersted (and grateful) to hear from any breeders who may currently have, or may be having any puppies in the near future, who might meet this description.

Even if you don't want a dog for show or work you should make sure you only buy from stock which has had all the relevent health checks.

Please be careful where you go. I think you are best to follow Anwens advice and stick with The Lab Club.
