I am getting a dog door for my daxi she is 4 months old and she has been ever so good going on the paper (she came paper trained from the breeder).

What I want to know is when I put in the door how do I get her to know to wee outside? The breeder said to show her how to use it and giver her treats when she does but this is showing her how to go out how do I show her where to wee ?Do I put newspaper outside ? Any sugestions welcome.

Start off by putting the newspaper outside until she has it sussed.

Personally I think you are going to have more trouble teaching her the dog door than you are teaching her to go outside!
