hi i have owned german shepherds for 15 years and i have only ever had dogs, i have never owned a bitch untill i got my bitch last year from one of my dogs litters that he had studed. my bitch was one of 13 he has just come into season for the first time and it was really heavy at first and now she is in her second week it has gone alittle more watery than last week but about 2 days ago she was being sick first thing on a morning but now she is fine. she is acting very strange compared to usual she is usually very hyper as puppies usually are looking for attention.IS THIS NORMAL?
I know i am being soft but i would just like a little information on seasons like how long they are in heat for? when is the most likley time for a bitch to get pregnant, which part of the season?If my bitch is 9 months old then how old will she be when she comes into season again?

Looking for attention is normal, something strange is happening to their bodies.  Also no one knoes when you bitch will next be in season, could be anything but around 9 mths.  Also she is most ready to be mated NOW when the discrage goes light normally around halfway thru their season of 21 days!

hi its mark again no i dont remember that i am new to this site i am using my friends password and user name his name is also mark but he gave me the website and said it was a good website to find out information i am using a cyber cafe and i dont have a email address so i cant get a username and password off the site so he offered to let me use his.
