My bitch needs to be wormed but is in welp when is the best time to worm her i use doronto from the vets.

Use Panacur whilst she is in whelp from Day 40 of gestation, until two days after she has whelped, I beleive this is the only worming preparation licenced for use with pregnant bitches ??

I think the dosage is 0.5ml per 2Kg of bodyweight but check this before usage.

I wouldn't use any worming product on her if she is in whelp.
Personally I would do her when the pups are 2 weeks & 5 weeks old with panacur 10 % suspension.  :)

Why would you not worm an in whelp bitch (with a suitable product)?  Surely this is the best time to get them wormed, just as after a season is when the worms are "on the move" in the bitch's body?

I have done this for quite a few generations now and not found a problem with doing so
