Topic Dog Boards / Feeding / James Wellbeloved or Arden Grange?
- By gsd mad [gb] Date 27.03.04 18:58 UTC
At the moment my 3 gsds are on JWB and seem to be doing very well. I have one gsd with a food intolerance and one that is extremely picky.
I have heard so much about arden grange and have had it recommended to me loads of times by people who have fussy eaters but I dont know which one would be better.
Just wondering what you guys thought about it?
Thanks
Amy

Mine liked Arden Grange but I found as I got down the bag scooping it out it crumbled up a lot and the last lot towards the bottom of the bin was full of crumbs and no kibble.

They loved Arden Grange biscuit and as they ate them the drool poured out of their mouths but these also crumbled in the box whilst in delivery.

Hi Yappy,
Don't want to sound as if I'm pushing Arden Grange, but I do work for them!
Just wanted to say, if you do ever get any problems with the food, crumbling or whatever, please in future do contact head office and report the problem. Just let them know the batch number and they will look into the problem, and replace the food. Quality control is very important, but they won't know of any problems unless someone reports it!
Best wishes,
Liz

ok I will - they do love the food. Perhaps with the biscuits it was the packing and delivery because most were broken when I opened the box.

Mine are on AG and love it.  I've had no probs. with crumbs at the bottom of the bag, but the treats do tend to break up v. easily.  AG has certainly sorted out my fussy GSDs and I'm not feeding nearly so much as I was with my previous brand of dog food!!

My 2 boys are fed on AG and both love it.  Just to add, they are always really helpful at the shows when I see them there but also at the head office when I order.  I had one incident when my food had been dispatched but the parcel company had mis labeled it and delivered it elsewhere.  AG sent me as many samples as they could from the office so that my dogs had some food and menawhile sent out replacement bags of food which is delivered within 2 days now.
