I am after some long haired Jacx Russell puppies (short legged).  Does anybody know of any breeders?

Am I right in thinking that this type of Jack Russell is not KC registeres?

Is there a particular name for this type of Jack Russell?

Hi Guest there is only one type of  kc registered russel they are the Parsons jack russel(run a search on google and you willl find some pictures) terrier
long coated is technically called rough coated,and im afraid there is no particalar name for short legged type. :)

The Jack Russell is not accepted as a breed by the UK KC...only the Parson Russell (with the longer legs).

If you are looking for a Jack Russell with KC papers you'll be interested to know that they are recognised by many KC's on the continent and in Ireland...as well as Australia, South Africa and the US...just not the UK....

The particular name for the type of dog you are looking for is the Jack Russell...not to be confused with the Parson Russell ;o)
