Contact the Kennel Club and ask for a list of breeders with pupies and then make some visits to these breeders.

Hi guest and Jackie,  excellent advice for some breeds Jackie, but the guest is likely to be disappointed if they think they will be finding "some" breeders wiht litters, who do not have the pups already booked!  You might strike lucky and find the odd one or two, but it is more a case of contacting breeders and getting put on a waiting list.  Of course, they should be more than happy to let you visit and see the pug family they have, and keep you updated on the prospects of an upcoming litter.
bye
Gwen

True enough it would be best to get your name down and to do that either contact beed clubs or if you can a few shows, make yourself know and let it be known you want a pup. You will find the clubs contacts listed here
