My dog would be in her 8th week if she's pregnant. She has had all signs except she doesn't seem any larger as of yet. She had morning sickness till about 5 weeks, has been picky about her food & she stopped bleeding right after she was bred. Her back two teets seem a little swollen. She is a small breed, normal weight about 5 lbs., With her first litter she looked like a melon by now, three pups in that litter. Does anyone have advice? I am going to see vet, but sure all he'll say is wait and see, and watch for other problems if she has reabsorbed or miscarried. Any info would be greatly appriciated. Thanks.:)

pretty much what I thought he would. Guess I'll wait and see what happens. I have 5 more days at the most if she is having any. It's just frustrating not really knowing for sure.:)

Hi,i have had two different bitches miss after being mated. I have on both occasions convinced myself that they were pregnant even though signs were not really there. One really clear sign of pregnancy is that from the fifth week onwards your bitches vulva should have a slight mucous discharge coming from it also the vulva usually stays slightly enlarged throughout pregnancy. This symtom should still occour even if your bitch is only having one puppy!  GOOD LUCK.
