where do you get your crates from?
Ive been looking on ebay and i looked in petsathome where they were like £60
im looking for something to fit a sheltie puppy, for car travel until it is a bit larger so id be interested if there is anyone doing them a bit cheaper

Argos has a resonable sized crate for about £40. HTH Gillian

The cage from argos is cheap but not very good in fact its very dangerous my mum bought one and took it straight back. I got my cage from croft it was £50 for a collie/bull terrier sized cage so should be cheaper as you wont need one so big for a sheltie.

I disagree, my crate came from Argos and there is nothing the matter with it :)

My Argos crate is still being used by my Aussie after nearly 2 years and no problems whatever :)

Croft (01287 484200) do a wide range of sizes, including the "crufts" range in pretty colours.  Marlin (0870 2200686) have a nice, heavyish duty range, and great "tent" type ones too.  Also Canine Kennels (01270 841003) and Berriewood (01787 238003)  advertise ranges, but I havent seen them personally.

Mine came from Ebay, there's a company on there that sells them all the time, I think mine was £26 plus p&p and is quite a good one - the black coloured metal one with the two doors, and the plastic removable drip tray - I also thought the Argos one looked a bit dodgy, the metal looks a bit flimsy and I don't like the idea of a metal drip tray either. 

i also got mine from ebay, the seller is called gwdavies28, they have their own company but sell them cheaper through ebay. my one (36"24"27") was £35 plus £6 p+p. mine was the galvanised version with 2 doors

I also got mine from EBay, delivery was next day, I paid £50 for mine but it's for a dalmation so it's very large. Worth every penny in my opinion.

gwdavies 28, that's the one!  I was really pleased with mine.

yeah I'm really happy with mine, it came less than 24 hours after paying too
