Does anyone know if the frozen minced tripe you can get from AMP
is what is known as green tripe? If not, where can I get it?
Thanks
Katrina

Yup its the green stuff :) I feed it raw (defrosted) that way it doesn't stink so much ;)

All tripe is green, unless its bleached.  Sometimes its black, but then it really does stink!

Can't imagine anyone wanting to cook it (not after the first time anyway) :D

yeah it is the most rank smell ever isnt it!! we call tripe 'poo' in our house now. "Have you given Boo her poo yet?" (gawd that sounds silly!).

We started (when changing her from her breeders food to raw) wtih cooking the AMP beef mince... and MY GOD did that smell gaggingly revolting too!! YUK!!

Yes green tripe is the stuff you feed dogs. If you think it smells just feeding it I have to process it and usually get splashed in it. But my dogs love me as I smell of dinner. I think if I wore purfume they won't know me.
