could anyone tell me why my 6 year old bitch mounts the cat(her favorite object)and any thing eles that moves,she is 1 of 4 dogs and is liked best by all of them, she shows no signs of wanting to be top dog.

forgot to mention she was spayed at a year old

Think you may have answered you own question. All bitches will mount others but spayed bitches are inclined to do it even more. What makes you think she is not top dog, she may well be.

she waits for all the other dogs to eat before she touches her food, she licks at the other dogs mouth,Just lots of things lead me to think she is'nt top dog
