Hi all, I bought my 11 year old daughter a watch on Friday from Ebay, and yesterday she forgot to take it off for a bath!!! Its full of water and has stopped working! -eventhought I did tell her to remember to take it off and not to get it wet!

Is it mechanical or battery operated?  Pop the back off it and try drying it out on a radiator befor any rust sets in, you maybe able to save it yet!!  Although if it is battery operated then it may need a new one.  once it is dried out use a very light spray oil on the moving parts and hopefully it should be ok. ( used to work in a jeweller and watchmakers shop) :) Sarah
