I would like some advice please. I have an 19 week old puppy who does not give my 10 year old some any peace. The pup is always jumping up on him and nipping him. As soon as my son moves the pup pounces on his feet and starts bitting him. It is getting a bit of a nuisance. I know pups like to play, but do you think he is trying to mark his place in the family. He has also started jumping up on anybody that comes in the house. When I take him out he is constantly trying to jump up on people do you think a halti would help as i have an harness on him, but that does not help, he is a big pup. Any advice will be appreciated.

my big boy did this jumping thing, also when he was younger, what i did was everytime anyone including family called, was to put him on a lead and let him approach them sniff then move him away, he soon learnt not to jump up and at the same time tell visitors to ignore him and not make eye to eye contact they are there to see you not the dog
