OK, been discussing with someone who's planning on breeding their CKCS this year, however we can't agree on how old they should be. She's been told to breed her at 18 months at the latest, leaving it until they are two will be of a greater risk of problems. Does anyone know if this is true? At the moment the bitch in question is 15 months old and her behaviour is still very puppy like, to me she seems to young to have pups. But I'd be keen to find out what the "experts" think.

Thanks,

Char
