Topic Dog Boards / General / B'day treat request, not dog related!
- By ROSIEDOLLYJAZ [gb] Date 12.03.04 17:26 UTC
Hello
I know this is a bit cheeky asking a question on here as it's not dog related but you peeps always have good advise!"!"

It's my brothers 30th in November and I want to arrange something really special for him. He has been an avid supporter of Arsenal FC since he was a lad and I would love to be able to arrange for him to meet the players etc for his b'day.

I called the club but they were very unhelpful (even though I said we'd pay), they just said that they don't do this for just anyone. I can understand this as they are probably inundated with this request, but there must be some way around it.

He's a very special Bro and would really like to sort something out.

Has anyone got any connections with Arsenal FC????

All help appreciated

Thanks

Jo

Could you not get a "happy birthday" message to him on their big screen during one of the games hes at ??

Some of the other clubs do allow birthday tours and visits so I am surprised they dont ? Did you speak to the right person ?
Do they hire out any social/function rooms there and perhaps arrange to have a birthday get together with friends there ?

Jo,  we have a rep who comes in who has a few connections with Arsenal so I will ask him when he is next in. He got me tickets for the vigo game but I didn't go because they were really for my ex who is a vigo supporter.

I bought my sons a trip round Arsenal - one of those Red Letter Day thingy's.  They didn't meet any players but got to look around and walk through the players tunnel etc.  They enjoyed the day.  It cost around £50 each.  Hope this might help.
