seems i made a mistake and posted my last one on two different topics so they have been removed.
Would just like to say thank you to those who did reply and it gave me something to think about.
Charlie is still in the hospital but went to visit him today and boy what a different dog, he had energy and looked much better. Know he still has a long way to go but I am just hopefull that the RSPCA, where we adopted him from, is forthcoming in helping towards the growing vets bills. If they could see the difference in him in just one day then they could see that it is money well spent.
Was wondering whether to at least ask for a refund of the money which we paid for him as this would be able to go off the bills. Do you think that would be reasonable?
Has anyone else got a dog who is diagnosed with Addisons? Any advice would be very welcome.
Thanks again to all who answered my post before it was removed, it was just a mistake on my part as I am new to this.
Hi :)
Glad Charlie is looking so much better, I hope he continues to improve. Yes, I think it's reasonable to ask for your rehoming fee back, after all they basically sold you a poorly dog. I certainly think it's worth leaning on them a bit. :)
Don't worry about mistakes, we all make them. ;) :)

A friend of mine rescued a cat at an RSPCA rehoming day and he was a bag of bones very matted and very ill. Turns out he had a thyroid problem. She took the cat to the RSPCA vet and she never received a bill!!
