I kept three puppies from my litter last year and recently gave one of the girls to a good friend who had recently lost one of her old girls that I bred nearly 11 years ago. Since then her sister has started barking, the people she has known all her life are fine but any one else she goes mad at. I put her mother in with her for company as I don't like dogs kenneled on their own. Has any one tried the collars that squirt citrus at them to stop the barking. She is driving me mad and telling her to be quiet has no effect.

Hi,

Despite Rough Collies being known for their noise :D I've never had a noisy one until my 2 year old, who barked at anything that moves .... until I got the Aboistop citronella collar.  I cannot begin to say how impressed I am, it has worked like a charm.  Also put it on my older girl this morning, as she is normally quiet with the one exception of when the Postman gets out of his van, and ditto with her.

So, they may be expensive (I was lucky to get one second-hand on here), but I think they're GREAT.
