I am thinking of changing to Burns for my two dogs and was wondering how long a15kg bag would last, my dogs are whippets so are not masssive eaters but as it is fairly expensive I would just like to know a rough estimate. Thanks

Hi, I have three retrievers on burns and a 15kg bag lasts me a fortnight,I would imagine that for whippets It would last about 6-8 weeks depending on how much you feed!  I give mine alittle bit more that reccommended as I found that sticking to what it says on the bag made them a bit leaner that I liked. I've got an adult GSD on it (35kg) and we give him a tiny bit more than recommended as we work him a lot and he tends to be lean anyway.  A 15kg bag lasts us just over a month so works out about £1 / day.

Thanks very much for your replies, it sounds as though Burns is very economical, I will give it a try.
