just wondered if any one has used it to get rid of Saliva stains?

I have used Kleen Face but not really with any success.  I do have this problem of saliva  staining around the mouth and paws of my white dogs.  I have read that if you give vitamin C, 500 mg a day per 20 pounds of weight, the stain will stop and the hair will be white as it grows out.  Beard hair will take six months to grow out. As a bonus vitamin C will stop the dogs urine from causing brown patches on the lawn.  I have been using this for about a month now and can gradually see improvement.

what sort are you useing i could do with some of those i only use klean face at shows on the faces to freshen them up well this 1 im showing at the moment is black i have a buff 1 with a staines round the face and feet oh there american cockers

Hello Fiano,

The Vitamin C I use you can get from any health shop, and again it is stated to take a westie 6 months to get a white mouth and feet, by the way I have been using it for 1 month and have found a considerable difference in the feet staining, the mouth is better but we have still 5 months to go!

Yes my westies have been on Vitamin C for about 5 weeks now and we are certainly seeing an improvment in their feet staining (reduced brown marking), even their beards are getting better, my information did say it would take 6 months.  Also I have noticed an improvement in the  difference in the grass which bitches are renown for leaving marks when going to wee.
