Hi guys these are going to seem like very daft questions I know but im in need of advice,
we are approaching the end of the six month wait for the pets procedure and im needing to think about how on the earth am I going to get the dog home!!! to the UK the dog is in Austria
Q1 does anyone know the easiest way to come out of Austria is it by air or sea?
Q2 if the breeder puts the dog on the plane in Austria for me to collect from heathrow does the pets paperwork travel with the dog? silly i know but Im worried the paperwork will go a stray and I will be stuck in heathrow with a dog and no proof of passport!
Things have gone so well so far i just know somethings going to go wrong ! she has her hips xrayed next week as well so im hoping she doesnt fail!!
thanks in advance
kate:)

We flew one in from Germany, the carriers insisted on faxed pets forms the day before travel so that they could check all was in order. On the day of travel, the forms were put in envelope and taped to the flight box and travelled with dog. Didnt have any problems at all.

The faxed day before idea is a good one - when we brought Keeper in from Finland last year there was an error on his worming document, and it involved a midnight drive through Finnish Forests to get a new form signed, and a several hour hold up at heathrow before he could be released.

I dont think a Sea route from Austria is an option! ;)
bye
Gwen
