if you want change to the bbc covereage i think we should start emailing from the 12th this friday,
if you really want change ?
need to know do we want another channel to take it over? eg channel 4
or keep bbc2 involved.
also need to know really what kind of things we are going to put in the emails,as we really should all run the same type of threads through our emails to the bbc or channel 4.
need to put points forward like football, snooker etc get a lot of coverage,
so if anyone is interested lets get going.

Hi
Must admit I found it frustrating that there was such a short time devoted to Crufts & yet they went on about the American shows, surely they could've done another programme about the Westminster show (hope I've remembered the name of it right, the one at Madison square gardens) I was much more interested in seeing how the dogs here got on.
Btw, has anyone seen the film thats on Sunday night, BBC2, its called Best in Show & its a spoof documentary about a dog show, just wondered if it was any good??

Is *Best in Show* on this Sunday coming, or was it shown last Sunday?
Reports from US dog show exhibitors on another forum say that is is very funny, and disturbingly close to the truth. However, I haven't seen it, so can't comment directly!
Hope I haven't missed it, it's on my 'Must See' list....

yes sorry forgot to put crufts if we want to see change maybe we should help it along a bit,
how many people are willing to email the bbc and ask them why we only have a short programme about crufts etc and half of that is spent with wittering reporters,so if you are interested are we willing to do something?
and by the way that dvd best of breed was funny yes American but funny and i know of at least two people in it that i see at shows regularly, and proberly a bit of myself in there also.
Carol

It's brilliant :D

I have it on DVD too, just so you know though, Best in Show is a spoof but funny non the less.So don't expect it to be a docudrama.

I'll email them if you just let me know what to say, i desperately tried to get there last weekend but things kept cropping up and i had to console myself with the tv coverage and it was disgraceful. They have loads of bbc channels on sky so i couldn't see why they didn't use one of them, as ther was nothing else interesting on them! :)

It is so funny....the 2 commentators must have been lightly based on a certain "two-some" that commentate at Crufts! And our shows are getting slightly "Americanised" too.....
