any idea please where to buy scissors to trim between the pads and round the feet of my collie puppy. I have been taking her to a groomer to have this done but would like Jim to learn to do it himself

Boots hairdressing scissors, not too long, will do you fine at the moment - about £7 - you can then have a look round some shows later and make sure you like the feel etc. of scissors before buying anything more expensive.

If it is just for the around the feet, I would go for a short pair.  I made a mistake with my first pair and they were too long and I found it difficult to control them around the feet.
