having problems with my 5 month old rott, he is fantastic at home but at ringcraft
he is very excited when touched by a stranger. just wondered if this is the norm as this is my first attempt at showing.

Hi Guest, try not to worry about his behaviour at this stage. He's only a baby. Continue to practice at your ringcaft, but don't bore him with over training. Watch the minor puppies at any show and you will see that they don't have the self control of the ones in Open classes, and neither should they. The penny will drop soon you'll see. Good luck when you get him into the ring.

I read a judges critique once from an Afghan puppy class, and it said how pleased he was that the puppies bounced around and had fun acting like puppies and not little robots ;)

Enjoy your pup while you can :)
