I bought some Burns Ocean Bites at Crufts for the dogs to try, Ocean Bites are dried sea fish and are rather smelly ! :D
Gave some to Gypsy to try first - she liked it and scoffed it.  Gave a bit to Cree - again she scoffed her piece.
Gave a bit to Taff - he had a chew (just enough to soften it up), spat it on the carpet and started rolling on it! :D
We have now re-named him Fish Face.  So please be warned, if you have a dog that likes to roll in stinky stuff don't feed
them dried fish treats :D :D

I think they will have to stay sealed in the airtight container I have shoved them into until I
pluck up the courage to get them out again :D

My pup LOVES Burns Ocean Bites, but they do smell big time :)  I keep them in a tightly shut tupperware as they were too smelly in the kitchen just in their bag.
Last month I bought Barney a 'NYLABONE' to keep his teeth clean but he wouldn't look at it, he sniffed it and walked away!!!  But I came up with a good idea, I put the nylabone in the tuppware with the Ocean Bites, left it there for a week and now I can't get the bone off him, he loves it.

What can I say ! Fantastic idea Jax ....already been and gone and put the nylabone in the 'Fish' jar :D   Sheer brilliance......or common sense lacking on my half ;)

Eeeew, they are disgusting.  I too bought some at Crufts (they were out of Kelties).  Molly has had one, I can't pluck up the courage to open the bag again.   When I asked what they had in the way of treats, the woman on the Burns stand said "well, we've only got the Ocean Bites" as is she expected me not to want them - I should have known better!

LOL Rosemarie :D  The 1st time I ordered over the internet....they rang me especially to ask if I still wanted them delivered because they had run out of the 'proper' bags....not knowing what the kind lady was on about I of course said 'no problem'.....she gave a suprised tone in her voice...after which, returning home the next day, my external letter box was surrounded by every cat in the neighbourhood
Hubby doesn't find me that attractive after I've handled them either....but hey....thats no bad thing ;)
