We are getting a new male Goldie pup and we are really stuck for names,we quite like,

Storm or Merlin ?

Our other Goldies are

Amber,Gundo and Tia

Any suggestions?

Gundo really suits him Lea has seen him.Not very original Gundog without the "G".
However there was a GSD called Acresway Gundo I fell in love with the dog and his name and decided my 1st male Goldie would be called this.

I like Merlin!!

Merlin was a name we considered for Obi, the two names I like that friends Goldie's have are Oban (they get really confused when they play together!) and Pavic (sp?)  Both really suit the dogs.
Also like Leo and Dylan for male Goldies
I'm sure the right name will come along, it did with us!

Have to say i have recently had the same problem trying to think of a name for my new Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy. I resorted to a baby name book. Sounds sad i know but if you look at a good one it might help as they also give the meanings of the names which helped me alot as i opted for 'Rogan' in the end which means red haired one.

i like merlin too, could be because i know 2 BC called storm lol

Our last Rottweiler was a Storm and what a fantastic boy he was - sadly missed.

Merlin does it for me :D Pavic is lovely too, pity you cant use it. If I had a Goldie Id call him Midas or even Croesus if in a daft mood :D OH has just offered Bond - Goldfinger :D time to up his medication again.
