Hi,

This product has been lauched to replace Pedigree Advance,it is for breeders only, can be obtained from shows however.
Anybody currently using it and what do you think??
I am interested in this product so any info good or bad would be useful.

Thanks Briony :-)

Hi Briony, I have been using pedigree professional for a couple of months, and I'm a big fan. It's very high fat content (20%) is fantastic for the skin and coats, and also means that you don't need to feed a large amout to keep weight on. The poos are small and firm. At £25.99 for 17.5kg it's also good value for money.

Hi,

I got the info at Crufts at their stand, and a couple of other breeders seem to be very impressed with it, currently feeding JWB very impressed with this for number of years, but a new pup comming to me is being fed the Professional.

Can you tell me what the protien level is in it, I have kujoe on Burns at the momment and he is hungry all the time, but Burns told me not to increase the amount we feed or it would overload his digestive system, he still get chicken wings and a small amount of tinned food mixed with the burns. Is the new food available from breeder outlets do you know.

im using it and im finding its had a dramatic effect on one of the dogs, shes much brighter. full of fun, and up and doing much more  than before, --plus less output,     :D

I have just ordered another sack of Burns will get it in the morning,I think that I will get a sack of proffesional and change him over slowly, and change the bitch in welp over to the burns slowly as at the momment she looks wider than she is long it is fat not pups we had started to slim her down before mateing if the Burns gives her the goodness without the bulk we make have cracked it. Anyone know if the breeders service outlets stock the proffesional

Hi,

Professional Puppy  32% protein 17.5 kg bag

Professional Performance (adult food) 26% 17.5 kg

Professional Puppy porridge is 30% 2kg

As I say I know a few breeders who are really impressed with it :-)

Thanks I have rang my breeders service rep and am going to try him, hopefully it will stop him looking like a greyhound, suppose he is not that bad, just used to the newfoundlands being chunky

My second beagle was fed on pedigree proffesional and she did look very healthy on it. She had a beautiful coat and there were no upset tummies. I would definately recommend it.

Hi,
Does anywhere sell this food, or does it have to be ordered. I have looked on the link given, but I am still stuck as how to actually buy this food.
You say it has taken over Pedigree Advance, (does that mean that is no longer available.)

Michelle.

Hi Michelle you either buy it from Champ shows or from  breeder collection points around the country if you are a member of the breeder scheme the link will give you details of your nearest one.HTH Gillian

hi,

very interested in this professional performance food, what age do they suggest feeding the puppy until, i have one approaching 1 year and one a 7 months, should they go onto puppy or straight to the performance with my older girl, shes hopefully in pup at the moment and currently not eating at all, fed on burns but not really that bothered to tell the truth?
