A Junior Warrant is a tilte a dog (or bitch) earns between the ages of 6 & 18 months. Points are won from class wins at both open and Ch show - 1 points for an open show win, 3 points for a Ch show win. There has to be 3 dogs or more present to claim the points. It gets more complicated with regulations about only 1 show per week counting, and points being claimed from Bob or group wins (cant remember the actual requirements h ere, they keep changing it!) You need 25 points to claim the title, with a certain number of them abtained from Ch show wins.
To qualify for Crufts you need to be placed 1st 2nd 3rd in qualifying classes at Ch shows where CCs are on offer for the breed. The KC publish different "bands" for which classes qualify for which breeds.
This is probably a great oversimplification of both cases, but gives you a rough ides :)
