My partner is concerned about our 11 month GSD she weighs in at 35.2kg she is a big GSD and i told him that as i can feel her ribs she is fine.
She does not look fat at all you can feel her ribs she has lovely indentations on her side.

Can anyone give us a rough idea on weight at adult hood. I know each dog is different i just wanted an estimate

well I have 3 bitches and 2 of them are english type which are very big built Lady (4 yrs old) weighs in at about 34 - 35kg and Jade (2.5 yrs old) weighs in at about 33.5kg so not much difference there but my other is a german type Anna (1.5 yrs old) she is a lot more slim built and very slender but taller and she weighs about 24 kg and it is very hard to keep the wieght on her.Jade has been this weight since about 1 yr old, Lady was only about 30 kg until she developed pyometra and had to be spayed and anna is still growing. Each dog is different and I suppose it depends on which type she is but either way if she still has a waist and you can feel her ribs well but not see them there shouldn't be a problem. Hope this helps

OMG I think I should panic, my 6yo male GSD weighs in at over 60KG he is enormous but not fat at all, in fact I sometimes think he looks a bit on the thin size.
It does all depend on the build and bone structure, if she looks ok then don't panic.

i knew she was alright just needed to reasure my partner, we have another GSD that does not eat much at all and over the past month has lost about 3kg she has gone down to 28.5kg and fed on burns, i think i will have to change her food again to get her to eat.
Pup could eat foe england but i know she is alright she is just going to be big.
