Hi last night my husband was watching the news and it was said that this new heartworm vaccine (something called like Pro 6, not sure though) that lasts for 6 months is bad for dogs, since there were some serious side effects recorded, including liver failure. Has any one else heard this? But they say the once a month a pill is safe. I am in USA, so I am not sure about other parts of the world, so can any one give me more info on this subject???

Is this the one...Proheart 6?   Click on "hear a rumor, get the facts"  but bear in mind that it's the Proheart website so they're bound to say it's fantastic. I'd do a Google search for it too. ;)
