Hi All, Hubby has loaded norton on to pc, and now its supposed to scan incoming and out going e-mail. It wont let me recieve or send at the moment, just tells me that there is an error with requested task. Any ideas why?  I have been into norton and stopped it scanning the e-mails and I can now send and recieve, but I thought the whole idea was to be able to protect the pc by having it scan everything so nothing harmful comes in (or gets sent :) )  Any advice would be much appreciated. :) Sarah

I have Norton and I scanned mine Sunday morning when all the trouble started, it detected nothing. I downloaded the free AVG that someone gave the link for and it's brilliant. (post 'John A Warning')  It found 2 worms and 900 ! files infected. When I receive those 'nasty' e-mails now it detects it and 'heals' my computer and it's so easy to use.
