I just wondered if not getting my sibe hipscored before her first litter would be a problem, as i have been advised by husky welfare that as long as i get her eyes tested that it would be ok. As i would only sell them as pet dogs we do have people already waiting waiting.  I would also like to know the chances of putting two virgins together, would this be okay as the dog is only 22mths.

It would be better to get your dog/bitch hip scored aswell as eye tested, you don't want to be breeding a dog that has a really bad hip score. Please get them both done to ensure you have fit and healthy puppies. Not sure about the other question i have never bred, someone should be along soon to help.

Hi Guest
I think the question is...do you want to be a responsible breeder who produces nice healthy puppies or are you in it for the money!!
A responsible breeder does everything possible to ensure that the pups that are produced are of the best breed type, temperament and health. If you want to do the best for your bitch and her pups then yes...hip score and use a scored dog. There is a post at the moment about a young dog with HD(my beautiful jake has HD...on idle chat board)....read it...it causes such pain and heartache!!
As for using 2 virgins...not a good idea if you and the stud owner are new to it aswell...its not always straight forward!!

YES, YES, YES!!! OF COURSE IT WOULD  BE A PROBLEM!  siberians are a working breed sled dog and need good hips to enable them to do the job they are born to do, a dog plauged with HD can not run in harness nor will it have the excellent movement siberians are known for.  breeding from un scored parents is down right irresponsible with no thought of  the health of the pups, you could be creating pups with crippling illness.  the breed average is 7 and all dogs being bred from should be both hip scored and eye tested.  eye tests for hereditary cataracts need to be done yearly and glaucoma just once.
also with doing bits and pieces for siberian welfare i know that they would NEVER say that it was ok to use a dog that had not been hipscored.
the idea of breeding is to improve the quality of the breed, not just to produce pet quality pups, how do you know your bitch is a worthy example of the breed and of a good enough quality to breed from?  has she done well in the ring or in harness?  ideally she should excel in both before even considering allowing her to have a litter as should the stud.
is she even KC registered?  is that why you are asking about hipscores?  only KC reg dogs can be hipscored and eyetested.
i really think you need to have a good long hard think about what you are planning, it really seems to me that you have no idea of all the hard work, cost and heartache involved in breeding, it is not something that should be done lightly.  most breeders i know spend years researching pedigrees going to shows and rallies to find the right match for the bitch, it is not as simple as using A or B down the road!
22 months is very young for a late maturing breed like a sibe to be having a litter, she is still very young.
