Over the last few weeks my small dog would make quiet groaning noises when I picked him up although in himself he was fine. He has also been chewing his feet and licking the furniture regularly. So i bought some Chudleys mobility liquid and I have to say the noises have lessened a little. I also bought some thornit and have been treating him this week and the chewing of the feet has reduced.
Last w/end he lost his appetite and appeared a little fed up and just wasn't his happy self. I gave him chicken and rice, bathed him (in diluted hibiscrub)and he appeared to be back to normal. Today he is refusing to eat and again appears not himself and his stomach is slightly distended and has been making the loudest grumbling noises! His motions are fine.
This happened once before and after a few days he was fine.
I don't feel he is ill as such or I would take him to the vet. I've given him a nux vomica remedy.
But I am concerned because he isn't quite himself. Sorry to be so vague but if any one recognises these symptoms or has any suggestions, I would be grateful.

If you are concerned, take him to see your vet. It is better to be safe than sorry.
